How to Make the Most Money in FarmVille
These costs are easily managed of course because you're harvesting and selling your crops for more than it cost to plant them. There are a lot of other items you can buy in the FarmVille market to decorate and build up your farm, and you won't be able to get these without some significant sums of cash. Buying these items will also get you some much needed experience points to help you advance to the next level, so you'll have to find a way to make sure you have enough money for all the discretionary items you want to buy.
Earnings Per Hour
Because you'll be needing your coins for so much in FarmVille, you need to maximize the earning potential of your farm. The best way to do this is to figure out which crops pay out the most coins per hour. For example, strawberries sell for 35 coins per plot of land harvested and they take 4 hours to grow. Pumpkins, on the other hand, take 8 hours to grow and sell for 68 coins per plot of land harvested.
That means, for the same acreage planted, you'll earn 8.75 coins per hour by planting strawberries, while the pumpkins will only get you 8.5 coins per hour. This may seem like a small difference, but these small amounts can add up fast. Of course, you won't be getting your money's worth unless you can harvest the crops as soon as they're ready and immediately replant on that land.
A Quick Turnaround
If you're not going to be able to get back to your farm for 8 hours, you're much better off planting the pumpkins. The longer you leave a crop after it's done maturing, the less you'll be getting per hour once you harvest it. You can only make money fast on crops that mature quickly if you're going to be able to harvest and replant as soon as they're ready for sale. Make sure you take these details into consideration when you're selecting your seeds at the Market, and you'll be seeing your bank account swelling in no time.
How to Level Up Quickly in Farmville
There may come a time, though, when you want to get a little more out of the game. Every time you move up a level, you unlock new seeds, decorations, and other discretionary items. This means that in order to get the most out of your FarmVille experience, you'll have to level up quickly to unlock as many items and bonuses as you can.
The Basics
But how do you do this? There are several things to keep in mind if you want to level up quickly in FarmVille. You probably already know that in order to level up, you need to accumulate experience points. For example, each plot of land you plow gets you one experience point. In the early stages of game play, the number of experience points you get by plowing land and planting crops is plenty to allow you to advance at a reasonable pace. Once you get through the initial stages though, you start to need more and more experience points to level up.
Focus on Experience
When you want to build up experience points quickly in FarmVille, you have to supplement what you gain from your normal harvests with other activities. Making improvements to your farm is a good way to gain some quick chunks of experience points. Buildings yield the most, but you can get experience from putting up just about any decoration or structure. You just have to pay close attention to the amounts of experience points each item will deliver.
You should also take experience points into consideration when deciding which crops to plant. Crops that take less than a day to grow only yield 1 experience point, while crops that take longer yield 2. That doesn't mean you only want to plant crops that offer 2 experience points however. If you can get back and harvest them as soon as they're ready, crops like strawberries will get you more than 2 experience points a day because you can harvest them every 4 hours.
You have to be on top of your harvesting and planting cycles in order to make progress this way though. Putting up buildings on your farm remains the best way to get big boosts in your experience quickly. Save up your cash for those, and you'll be well on your way to unlocking all of the available items in FarmVille.
What is FarmVille?
FarmVille is a real-time sim-farm web-based online game developed by Zynga, available as an application on Facebook. The game allows you to control a virtual farm by planting, growing and harvesting your virtual crops, trees, and livestock. FarmVille has become the most popular game application on Facebook with over 60 million players as of November 2009. It launched in June 2009.
Farmville Seeds:
You can plant seed in small plots of land by first plowing them. Different plants take different lengths of time to grow, from between two hours to four days. Once the plants are fully grown they can be harvested for coins and sometimes experience points. Crops must be harvested within a certain time limit or they will rot. This time limit is the amount of time it takes for the plant to grow. If you don't harvest the plant within the time limit, the crop will become withered and die, thus giving no coins or experience points to you when harvesting it.
Farmville Trees:
Trees can be harvested and produce various fruits. Compared to normal crops, fruit from trees does not have a time limit and will not rot if not harvested in time. Trees can be moved around the farm after you plant them, as opposed to normal crops which are planted in plots of land that must be dug up and destroyed if you want to move them. Trees can be bought and received as gifts as well.
Farmville Animals:
Almost all of the animals can be harvested after a certain time and will give you eggs, milk or other products. Sometimes animals will roam onto your farm and Farmville will prompt you asking if you want to ignore the animal or publish the lost animal on your Facebook news feed so your friends could adopt the animal to their farm. You will also get a reward for posting the lost animal. Additionally, animals can be bought or received as gifts.
Farmville Buildings:
Buildings can be placed on your farm. Most buildings have no bonus effects besides just being a decoration for the farm and some XP by building it. Some buildings do have bonus effects such as the Dairy Farm or Chicken Coop, which allow you to harvest milk or eggs from 20 cows or 20 chickens simultaneously!
Farmville Decorations:
Decorations are small and have no special powers. They can be placed all over the farm. Some decorations can be rotated too.
Farmville Vehicles:
You can purchase Farmville Vehicles to make planting, harvesting and plowing faster. The currently available vehicles from the market are the tractor, the seeder and the harvester. These vehicles make plowing, seeding, and harvesting faster by allowing you to plow, seed, and harvest four plots of land at a time. This is much faster than just doing one at a time. When you run out of gas, you can either wait for it to refill automatically or buy some more using FarmVille cash.
Farmville Ribbons:
You're able to earn yellow, white, red and blue ribbons. You gain these based on your efforts in Farmville by completing certain achievements, such as harvesting a certain number of animals or placing a specific number of decorations. Every ribbon you earn gives you a reward of coins and sometimes a bonus decoration.
Farmville Cash:
If you're playing FarmVille, wasting cold hard cash on FarmVille Cash, and still not getting anywhere and wondering how anyone gets ANYWHERE in this game, you'll need to figure this stuff out and FarmVille Secrets is going to put you way over the top.

How to get more Farmville money quickly!
Step 1
Build up your facebook Farmville account by planting strawberries only. Do this 3 times a day for the first three days.
Step 2
Add more plots of strawberries as you progress levels. Don't purchase anything but the berries to grow.
Step 3
Plant the whole field with strawberries day after day for as many times as you can. Once you can use your whole plot (12 squares by 12 squares= 144) for strawberries you are spending 1440 but earning 5040 a pop so your profit is 3,600 each square (earnings-cost=profit). Complete this three times a day and you have $43,200.
Step 4
Keep progressing upwards in dollars by planting strawberries and you will see the results add up quickly.
Step 5
Expand your facebook farmville plot quickly by adding neighbors and getting the experience. By day three, you should have enough money to purchase a bigger farm, if you have enough neighbors.
